I was watching a YouTube video 'Trains at York 1984' and I saw this building which is at the North of the Station?

What was it?

There was a two siding shed there at one point, pretty sure that's part of it.

Yes, there were 'Engine Sidings' in this area - see This 1921 aerial view on the "Britain from above " website - although to see them clearly you'll need to sign-up (free) so you can zoom in. I assume these buildings were offices, mess room or the like associated with the engine facilities.
