Buses for 3 Valleys beer festival in Dronfield 03.06.17

The 3 Valleys beer festival sees 13 venues in the Dronfield area put on beers, food, music and more and all get linked to Dronfield railway station by a free bus service.

This year once again Linburg Bus & Coach Company will be providing the buses, a mixture of single deck coaches and double deck buses, across 3 routes. Each route runs every 15 minutes and are co-ordinated so buses set off from the station every 5 minutes.

Buses will run from midday until about 8pm on the following routes from the station:

route A - rural pubs: Pioneer Club (Dronfield), Barrack (Apperknowle), Miners Arms (Hundall)

route B - Dronfield town & suburbs circular: Dronfield Arms, Green Dragon, Manor House Hotel, Blue Stoops, Jolly Farmer, Hyde Park Inn, Hill Top Sports & Social Club, Three Tuns

route C - shuttle service to the Coach & Horses, Dronfield.

Additional feeder services
There will be buses into the festival area around 11:30 from the following places:
- Dore & Totley railway station
- Totley
- Totley Rise
- Bradway
- Mosborough
- Halfway tram terminus
- Eckington
- Ridgeway
- Marsh Lane

Just received news that East Midlands Trains will be calling some trains additionally at Dronfield for this event, an initiative that the Friends of Dronfield Station have helped make happen.

Southbound extra calls planned (set down only at Dronfield)
09:52, 10:52 and 11:52 Liverpool Lime Street to Norwich

Northbound extra calls planned (pick up only at Dronfield)
15:52 Norwich to Liverpool Lime Street
16:54 Norwich to Manchester Piccadilly
18:58 London St Pancras to Sheffield

This is an event I'd like to do at some point (having done something similar around Burscough a couple of years back) but unfortunately am busy that weekend this year. Might be one for a future forum meet....any other members interested?
