You might have to wait until it comes out first BVE5's still WIP afaik, I'm sure if ya keep an eye in this section of the forum someone'll announce it. In the meantime, have ya tried openBVE (openbve.trainsimcentral.co.uk) or BVE4?

I use Google translate to read it in English. I cannot help you much except for the link. I got it working, but don't remember how.

TBH, dont bother with it, just download OpenBVE IMO its better than BVE4 and 5.

To the OP: You post the same message time after time on a variety of forums asking about the most simple of things that you'd easily be able to do if you bothered to READ.

You have to consider that is is a 0.2 beta. There were only 2 routes that I could find. A rollercoaster and a route with no scenery and no sound, but some neat hills.

Right now, BVE2, BVE4, and OpenBVE are all much better, but it is just a peek at what Mackoy is working on. Maybe someday it will be better, but for now, just good for one's curiosity, but not much else.

Apologies, I was unaware of the beta. In reponse to rocky's original question, you simply unzip the archive using unzipping software (such as Winzip) into your My Documents folder, then launch the program and select the scenario by right clicking and selecting "Open Scenario".

I use windows xp home sp3. it runs fine for me. I heard about it in mid-January, downloaded it immediately, so remembering what I did that many months ago is hopeless. Someone else will have to help you with the installation. I just know it is in "my documents" instead of a BVE folder. It uses "scenarios" instead of "routes".

1) Download the .zip file from the website as stated above.
2) Double click on the downloaded file.
3) If it comes up with Winzip, or Winrar or something similar, there should be a big button somewhere that says 'Extract', or 'Unzip' or similar. Click It.
If, however, when you double click the folder, it comes up as if you'd double clicked a normal folder, on the left hand of the window should be something that says "Extract All Files" - click on that.
4) It should ask you where it should extract it to. Click 'Browse' and locate your "My Documents" folder. Select that, and then click continue/next/extract or similar.
5) When it says that the extracting/unzipping is complete, open "My Documents" and find the "BVE Trainsim" folder. Double click on "bveIM". The program will start.
6) Right click and choose "Open Scenario". Choose a scenario and double click it. It will open.
