How far in advance, on average, do you learn of "interesting" flights due at BHX. I appreciate that this question might be difficult. Thanks.

Could you PM me about FR, please. It's not becoming pay per view for everyone is it?

I can't view FR nor do I need to, so can't answer that. But the RAF Brize Norton website lists passenger flights on their website on a daily basis.

Passenger carrying Voyagers will be on Flightrader. They are scheduled flights and are in the public domain. AAR (Air-to-Air Refulling) flights will not be, along with standalone Aeromed flights.

Just to point out that I have noticed AAR training flights (I presume!) showing up on FR; interesting to see patterns flown over the North Sea at various altitudes. OFC whether this situation will survive the further forthcoming changes to FR you have alluded to remains to be seen.

To just avoid confusion. Changes are happening with the flight schedules from Brize Norton and not FR. Hence why you will notice changes to the usual patterns for those that view it (i.e. a C-17 in lieu of a Voyager)

yes - I have noticed those fomr time to time. The last one I saw was when the two typhoons were scrambled to escort that Air France plane into Newcastle.
