C20 signs on the Settle & Carlisle railway

I was watching a Drivers Eye View on the Settle & Carlisle railway.

I noticed all down the line signs C20.

Does anyone know what the signs are for?

Please let me know.

They had a letter line underneath than C20.

2002 if it’s the one with the Northern Spirit 156, which would put it in the bracket of when the signs were in situ

No.....they were removed many years ago.

According to the link posted above, 'most' were removed in 2005.
