Hi everyone, could anyone shed some light on how to understand the TRP part two Cables and Dials exam? There are four cables with corresponding dials and numbers which have to be checked in sequence. I passed everything but this, with one more lifeline left! Help!!

Not quite sure what help anyone can give. It is a common sense task and without wanting to sound too harsh, if this is causing you problems maybe you are best looking elsewhere for a career.

It is just a matter of following the process.

This one is certainly the easiest of all the tests and one of the easiest psychometric tests I've ever seen. You can't go wrong unless you start the test without understanding the instructions first. It is the only part of the "process" that is easy.

From what I can remember (and this is trying to remember 2 years ago so could be inaccurate!) the Dials are semi circle, and I think they had 4 zones and a pointer. There are 4 dials per question to prioritise. The Dials in the real test also have a number, so if the pointer is pointing on the border, you have to prioritise the dial with the lowest number. I cannot remember it all for certain but it is something like this.
