Hi all.
Does anyone know what routes Caledonian Sleeper TM based at Edinburgh Waverley normally have to sign?
There is anyone able to describe what kind of roster/pattern do they follow?

Thanks in advance.

As far as I know, there’s two links, the lowlander sleeper link and the Highlander.

Lowlander is nightshifts and you sign Edinburgh/Glasgow - London Euston. Highlander sign Aberdeen, Inverness and Fort William (Edinburgh TM’s only go to the Fort occasionally to cover Dalmuir TM’s if needed) and is early/late shifts, either working the train to one of those destinations then passing back or vice versa.

Thanks for that.
Is my understanding correct TM's working on the lowlander have to lodge either in London for those based in Edinburgh and Edinburgh for those based in London, then do the return trip the following day?

That’s correct.

Whereas the Highlander TM’s travel half the shift on a Pass, so always go home to their own house when their shift is over.

Thanks for your reply and also for answering in advance my following question regarding the Highlander link arrangements.

Do you perhaps work for them if you don't mind me asking?
I'm looking to find out about the shift roster of TM's based in Edinburgh, I've done a research on the forum but I can't find anything satisfactory.
