Has electrification reached one of the furthest outposts of the railway network, the Machynlleth to Aberystwyth line? Have a look at this screenshot from the National Rail 'Status and Disruptions' page: 'Damage to the overhead electric wires at Borth...'.

No, it's an overhead electricity network wire hanging down rather than a railway one, but it's still a cable over a railway!

I had a feeling that this might be the case, but the website's wording did give the impression that the line had been electrified!
