Hi

It may not be that much of a mystery.. i haven't googled yet but wanted to share a few piccies as quite excited by my accidental find

Found where the sidings used to be at Dungeness in kent

The lettering says Tramway Company, suggests it's quite old.

Thanks for your pointers. I thought maybe a token but then it is not solid. In the second picture you can see a dark line - that is empty space, which i think used to be a bit bigger before it got squished by something. Maybe token made of two materials of which one has wasted away.

Looks like spent nuclear fuel pellet to me.....

Is it made of lead? Perhaps a seal of some kind if so.

I'd agree with that.

The lettering on it is made by the crimping tool. I still use a BR one...
