Hello all,
I am looking for some advice on a trip I am thinking of taking using the train & ferry day return ticket to Calais.
I would like to take a day trip from Canterbury to Calais, but return direct to Ashford International(to start a further journey north for which I already have tickets).
Would it be valid to purchase an Anytime Day Return from Chilham to Calais, and use the ticket to start short at Canterbury East on the outward journey, then finish short at Ashford International on the return journey?
I had thought it may be possible to do this using a Canterbury - Calais return but the southeastern and National Rail websites disagree whether it is permitted to travel Canterbury - Dover via Ashford on one ticket.
