Sorry I just didn't post my outcome on this matter earlier. I was given a warning not to repeat the mistake again. I did what was suggested in this forum told everything as it was and excepted the fault. Thank you all for your suggestions and input in this thread. It was helpful. Big lesson learnt.
Hi have you used a lawyer? If yes can you provide details. If not can you share your letter to TFL?

If you have a problem please start your own thread. No two problems are exactly the same and good advice for one can be bad for another.

If someone has achieved the apparently very unlikely outcome of not being prosecuted by TfL, isn't that of general interest? I imagine it's a one-off and wouldn't want to get others hopes up, but it still feels like it's something useful to know.

Hi Sudha and Community,

I hope you can read my post. I got the same issue today in Elizabeth line that I was using my wife's oyster photo id card. I was using it since 5-6 months without knowing that I cant use it however I was doing the top up every time. Today I caught by TFL enforcement officer and he took my card, note down my details and told me that you will receive a letter in 2 weeks with your wife's photo card. He asked where I was travelling to? and I respond him that I took the ride from the previous station. Then he made a call to his control room and gave a postcode written on the photo oyster card along with my date of birth, I think he did his process to register the case. I have asked him

My case is familiar with your case so could you please help me to draft my response to TFL as I am very much ashamed of my act. I am also worried about in couple of months we need to switch our visas to Graduate Visa. Kindly respond me did you admit that you been using your husband's oyster card for last 3-4 months or just make an apology for current incident and assure them that you wont do it again.

Kindly help me!!!
