Bidding for three new Creative Hubs and the new HQ for Channel 4 opened last month - and 19 areas have understood to have bidded being:

- Birmingham and Coventry
- Bristol
- Brighton and Hove
- Cardiff
- Glasgow
- Hull
- Ipswich
- Leamington Spa
- Leeds City Region
- Liverpool
- Newcastle-Upon-Tyne
- Nottingham
- Plymouth
- Port Talbot
- Sheffield
- Stoke
- Swansea
- Wolverhampton and the Black Country
- And finally, Wrexham and Chester

They'll be cut down at end of month and winners announced next year, with biggest hub being the new National HQ.

Who will win what is quite a battle?

If Leeds wins the bid, its quite possible that Channel 4 would end up being based at the Leeds Media Centre - the same building where Made Television are based.

Probably makes sense to share the building as I can't see Made Television producing anymore programmes apart from this Local Live thing that they currently air. Its a shame that The Crunch (and The Lowdown) was scrapped as it could have had pre-recorded local news inserts and weather wrapped around the two hour programme.
