Channel Tunnel - viewing point

Having travelled through the Tunnel on Eurostar many times, i've never really had chance to view the Shuttle trains running from Cheriton terminal.

Can anyone recommend the best viewing point to safely see these powerful locos in action.

I'm sure i read a thread about this a couple of years ago, but only now got the chance to spend a few days in Kent next week

Assuming you're driving, see map link. Take Crete Road West from the A260. There's an area to park that overlooks the terminal.

Absolutely ! - it's a week of driving and camping. I'd spotted Crete Road on a map, so very grateful for the confirmation.
