The track within the Chart Leacon compound has started to be lifted over the last few(?) weeks.
This morning two 73's (73136?) and a rake of wagons are on site.

Note : I would have added this to my own earlier thread about Chart Leacon or the Southeastern depot space thread but they both say they're closed to further replies.

The planning application referred to would appear to be 18/01842/AS which can be viewed at https://planning.ashford.gov.uk/terms.aspx . (It seems the OLE test track is due to be de-wired commencing 2nd Sept. 2020 according to this (18/01842/CONA/AS - Construction Phase Plan))

Interestingly, they say the first stage of this project is set to be completed in 2023.
