A fantastic day for locos along with some beautiful weather resulted in many good photos. With a West Midlands Day Ranger and Matt (the man with the plan) we set off for Rugby to see 87006 on it's morning test run. Later we were at Tamworth to see the 37's and the 56 along with plenty of other freight. From there we went to Birmingham International to see 87006 and the 56 again then on to Long Buckby to see the 56 again (double headed this time) and the northbound mail top and tailed by 87's. Along with the trains already listed we saw a 47, 60's, 66's, 86's and a 92.
Many thanks to Matt for planning the day.
