Had an email saying

“Good afternoon,

Thank you for taking the time to complete the VSE test which you would have done over last week or so via our external provider OPC. I am pleased to let you know that you have successfully passed this stage of the process.

Due to a slightly higher pass rate than expected. We have decided to place your application on hold. I want to assure you this is not a rejection, and we would like to retain your application in our talent pool for future reference. Should numbers decrease for the next round, or a suitable opportunity arise, we will not hesitate to reach out to you.

In the meantime, if you have any questions or require further information, please do not hessite to contact us.”

I’m assuming this means, that I have passed, but people have done better than me?

I’ve had the same email. Seems like they have already filled the numbers required.

Afternoon all,

Unfortunately I was unsuccessful at VSE stage. However, due to an error, I then received an email to state that I passed.

When replying to this email and clarifying details it was then understood that I did not pass.

Late yesterday afternoon I then receive an email congratulating me with an invite to stage 1 and 2 testing. As you can understand, this lead to further confusion.

So I queried this via email yesterday. This morning I received another response saying again that the email had been sent in error.

I understand that recruitment teams are extremely busy, and there are 1,000s of applications they have to sift through. There are people that have been successful and are on to the next stage, I wish them and everyone else who was successful at VSE stage the best of luck. There’ll be another opportunity albeit with a bit more consistency .

seems to happen more than it should but I feel for you, it’s a long enough process as it is to have to go through a rollercoaster of emotions.

I’ve had to be patient for nearly 4 years now since originally getting to stage 1&2 testing and I’m still here trying. Have faith you’ll get there :D

Really sorry to hear that mate, I think there has nearly been an error at every stage of the process so far! But I've not had any as bad as this.

Has anyone on here been down for the stage 1/2 OPC tests for this particular role? Quiet as a mouse on here
