Recently I have found records of 3 coach formations involving 150141 and I was wandering if there are many other sets that have had interesting formations in the past! (Before anyone asks, I can't remember what the website was called)

In the west mids they operated 3 car 150's with two 150/1 cars with a 250/2 in the middle with a demobbed cab. Some other 3 car sets were 150/2 2 car sets with a 153. The TOC clearly wanted gangways throughout a set.

I presume you're aware of the current /0 formations at Northern?

That must have been a snail 150/2 + 153

GWR and First Great Western before that had a 150/2 carriage inserted into the middle of a couple of 150/1s. I believe the 150/2 carriages were from the 150/2 set without a toilet

IIRC GWR had 52219 inserted into 150238 which is why they are still in blue and 57248 wad put in 150233 due to corrosion.

They definitely had them in 150/1s, I used to travel on them a fair bit. Used to hate when one turned up
