It's currently at Leeds on 1P51, right in the middle of the peak! Wowzas.

It was in the old livery when I saw it at Manchester Piccadilly just before midday.

I always thought that the cycle hubs were open until at least midnight, with perhaps the exception of City Tower.
I believe the MediaCity one is 24h.

MediaCity is the only 24h hub, but that's no use to me in the centre as I'd need Metrolink to access it, a real waste of money and time. City Tower closes at 7pm, again no use to me. The other two are in/near Oxford Road and Salford Crescent stations, but are at least partially exposed to the elements, something I'd rather avoid. They're basically locked bus shelters.

I had 148 today. 107 struggling on one engine when driven from 54 end so it was taken out of service and replaced with 148 on 09:12 LIV-NCL. It formed 12:51 NCL-MIA after that.

Bit off topic for the thread and more of a technical question, but I'm intrigued as to what sort of fault would cause it to only be able to run on one engine from one cab only?

Gearbox or transmission fault In the 53 car. In one direction with 51 leading all 3 gears were engaging correctly but with 54 leading only first gear was engaging and even that wasn't actually making any difference. With the 54 engine isolated effectively only the 51 car was actually providing any traction.

148 was done pretty fast to be fair. One of the last ones to be repainted yet the fourth one to be refurbished internally.

Pretty sure I saw 108 today still with front end numbers. Definitely saw it a few days ago....

I worked it yesterday on 1E79. Numbers clearly displayed on the front still. Expect that will change soon tho

Are there any signs of their girls names yet? Perhaps they will be put on the front now, like the Eddie Stobart vehicles.

So that's the end of the original Dynamic Lines livery then, I do have to say I prefer the new Star of the North livery

Where are we up to with refurbs? People I've spoken to who've been on the refurbished 185s say that they're a massive improvement over the previous interiors so that's encouraging.

Finally had a refurbished unit, on the 1448 ex Huddersfield to Scarborough. Only on until Dewsbury but as it was a double I managed to get a seat. Did make a mental note of number but it's gone now! The units look far far nicer without all the horrible pinks and purples, and the recushioned seats are very comfortable. Good work, TPE!
