There are currently (or at least there should be) 3 x 8 car sets plying their trade by day, the St Albans Abbey line has been 350 operated for some time now.

LNR are shortforming some 350 services to cover for unavailable 319's.

How many diagrams are there? 2x8 and 4 for Snorbens? If that's the case then 7 are enough, they used to be 12 car sets.

The short formings advertised by LNR appear to be 350 operated services if I recall.
Before 012 and 429 were withdrawn LNR ran 4x8 car units. 2x8 usually on Tring runs and 2x8 on Milton Keynes runs with 1 unit as a spare, but as stated above there are now 3x8 car sets.

I'm starting to highly doubt the September withdrawal date, 012 and 429 were quietly withdrawn and sent for scrapping on monday and tuesday. This leaves 7 units in traffic with LNWR. Highly suspicious considering that one of the suspected withdrawal dates is the 30th of june.
Have you got any details of where they were sent for scrap?

However according to a couple of reliable sources I know from West Midlands Railways, what I had been told, still stands, 319s will still remain in service till September, however very shortly, yes the strikes will delay it a little, but very shortly, expect a gradual, phase out, diagram by diagram.
However 319 services will be subject to coverage by extra staff for support.
Because recently a few units have been tagged ie 319s just like the behaviour on the 317s and 321s. Also lnwr have received some misbehaviour reports from customers about some enthusiasts, telling them to move out of the way, even though they the customers have a right to be, where they are, despite being on the platform waiting in a certain place for the train, in which the enthusiasts might not be happy about, but shouting in a certain way, then swearing about history about to end, especially at a station. However if on the train, if filming inside, a few issues have occurred because a few passengers have took exception to it, and the odd disagreement and disorder has broke out, no one, has to move, we all have a right to remain where we are, unless rail staff tell us to move, for a specific reason. However 319s do have time left. But it appears if antisocial behaviour keeps on occurring or anything goes out of hand.
Lnwr could end them overnight in the July to September period. So hopefully no more behaviour occurs and respect what Is left and others around us please.

Part time spotter website suggests there are no 319s allocated today... was yesterday the last day? Or are they just not required today?

They're normally used every weekday. It could be argued to make sense to reduce train lengths on Friday morning as it's now just about the quietest day of the week until the "weekend away" traffic picks up later, but I'm not aware of them actually doing that, they just run the same lengths half empty.

The 0656 off Bletchley (which, notably, lost 17 minutes at Ledburn this morning) is/was a solid 319 turn, plus the ECS that runs just before it. So if that wasn't one...

A quick look at Camden railcam shows two of the roads with 319s parked up there today, which suggests they ran in service this morning.

Can confirm, the 16:39 out of Euston is a 319, 220 and 215. Thanks for all your help with if they were out today, much appreciated.

As far as i understand these are the 3 remaining diagrams for the Class 319's

To check if trains are running check on Realtime Trains and check diagram information, these diagrams above should show pathed for Class 321 at 100mph Max, and not show Pathed for class 350.

Reliability of the 7 remaining LNWR seems to be down, just yesterday they cancelled 1 for having a leak in the cab.
The same unit (217) failed again this morning, this time with door issues, and was left on Bletchley Carriage Sidings all day. 319215 has been stopped at Kings Heath for a few weeks now, meaning that there are only 6 serviceable units left.

The 1806 off Euston this evening was short formed to 4. Bet that was fun!

Also this evening Monday 18th September 2023, the 1554 London Euston to Tring Return Working and 1624 London Euston to Tring and Return Working both cancelled, recent weeks in Evenings for these services, has seen a few days, sadly spoilt, by signal failures, Camden area, always around the Start time of the 3 Diagrams, around 1530 to 1700, always then, to time it right to be a little nusicance.
Also as well as the signals, 319217, true to form, had door issues, the same week, when travelling on Friday 08th September 2023, which is known on the unit, because when at Tring, driver was telling guard about issues with the doors previously on The Wednesday 06th September 2023.

That’s booked a 4-car 350. Believe 2 units finish next week as out of miles, 433/457 are paired up currently which may not be a coincidence.

Interesting, so that means that Realtime Trains is no longer reliable in identifying what is diagrammed 319 as it used to be for LNR. To be fair I didn't see what unit it was, just heard "this train is formed of 4 coaches" and thought "ouch".
