I spotted a pair of 321s on the GW mainline just west of Swindon about 13:55 heading towards Bristol Parkway / Severn tunnel. Front set had red doors, rear didn’t. Hauled by a diesel loco
Don’t know if it was same train (would it really take over 5 hours) as I was driving along M4 taking wife to hospital appointment so wasn’t that close

Passed Wooten Basset at 13:52 so it almost certainly was the train you saw.
It sits in the Up Loop at Marks Tey for almost an hour hence the lengthy journey time.

321334 future confirmed- is going to be used in project swift.
“The Swift Express Freight train is being designed with Ricardo and will see Class 321 No. 321334 converted to be able to travel at 100mph and hold up to 12 tonnes of parcels.”

321.443 and 364 were being shunted around Clacton today - are these next to go off lease?

As long as it isn't 427 then its calm. 364 is already off lease, not sure about 443.

It is showing 321.406 as stored at Parkeston, however, 406 was in service on Friday (19/3)
Also, 430 was at Clacton C.S.D

units 321362, 321406, 321430 and 321444 is in warm storage which I think means that it was going to be used if really necessary.

So it must have been necessary to press 321.406 into service on Friday 19th; it was attached to 321.336

321.430 was at Clacton C.S.D with its pan up, so unsure if it is even in warm storage or not
