They've got six units, or seven if the suggestions of 341 also being one of theirs are accurate.
according to real time trains 321305 and 321 were on a test run to Witham this morning of 5f96 and 5v97 diagram
there is a 5f98 and 5v99 due to run this afternoon so may be the 321s again

440 then continuing on from Newport Docks to Northampton Up TC Sdgs
Anybody know where it's next move is to?
I had this unit as joining Varamis in Feb 2024 but I had no record of it undertaking a conversion to parcel carrier so could it be heading to Wolverton to go through this process?

Not long passed GA’s 321305 & 321 working 5V97, 11:42 Witham - Ilford Depot “trial” trip. The pair have been out a few days previously on this same working, which heads down as 5F96, 10:36 Ilford Depot - Witham.

I have a new list that someone has compiled for me so I will try and get that part of the UK Rail Log website updated at some point today.
Some of the detail regarding conversions at Wolverton is possibly outdated now as the project has become vastly reduced against what it was originally planned to be

How come Varamis Rail’s own social media stated that the fifth unit would be their final?

430 was scrapped in August 2023
I have both 443 and 444 as being at Gascoigne Wood but happy to be corrected if anyone has more conclusive info?

Is there a future for the Renatus fleet?
All the Renatus 321s at Wembley are pantograph up... in contrast, the few non-Renatus examples at the same location are all pantograph down.

That would suggest that Eversholt have not yet given up hope on them.

I remember this time, exactly a year ago, at Walton on the Naze station, the Department for Transport was there, and various members of staff from Anglia also, was told by staff later, that the Department for Transport wanted them gone, the Retanus 321s, the very same day, Monday 27 th March 2023.
However due to diagrams of the units and how run operationally wasn't possible. They remained until Monday 04th April 2023, with that day having special events to mark the end in passenger service. However was also told Anglia did want to keep a few for the branches, till approximately September to October.
Ie branches being the Walton on Naze to Colchester, Harwich to Manningtree branches and some Southminster to Wickfords. To enable Anglia to strengthen the 720s, to provide 720s, to become 10 cars, rather than 5, on certain services, and preventing shortforms to about September and October 2023, which didn't happen. But instead rolled 720s out causing 321s to finish. Dft once again said No.
They had to go, However 321305 321321 are still reported to be on lease at Anglia, by op upthread, it's possible some Retanus 321s are also still on lease maybe hence why at Wembley pan up, depending on when status of lease, when leaving Anglia. During 2023, to Go to Wembley. However does anyone know about the Retanus 321s in store at Warrington, are they pan up or Not?

321430 went to SIMS Newport 15 Aug 2023
321444 went to CF Booth in Feb 2023
321443 was still at Gas Wood in Aug 2023, and not seen any report of its departure since then.
Thanks for the update :)
