Have noticed that the refurbishments now consist of new seat coverings, grab rail coatings and floors but the details like the base of the doors and other damage to the interiors are not being repaired. The external vinyls have also not been changed so assume the new look has been abandoned.

Are you sure that isn't just some of the units that have had a partial interior refit (moquette etc) but not a full refurbishment/repaint? They have been knocking around for a while in this configuration.

They could well be, I hadn't noticed any previously so wondered why half a job was being carried out.

378225 now back in service. 378229 being similary treated.

Currently the trains passing through a 15-year corrosion and repaint as part of the maintenance schedule.

Thank you. Do you know which line 378225 is operating on at present? I might be on the North London line tomorrow morning…

378225 was looking very clean and shiny this evening at Camden Road.

Currently working 2N52, 17:20 Richmond - Stratford. Assuming it sticks to diagram it will work the following tonight:

2N11 18:31 Stratford to Richmond
2N64 19:45 Richmond to Stratford

I don’t have the will to work it out further than that!

I'm sure I've heard that too - isn't the ELL the main reason the 378s have the cab design that they do have, rather than one more like the 376s?

I've noticed that there are a lot more 710s on the NLL though recently.

378214 returned to New Cross Gate today behind 37800, anyone know which 378 headed back north please?

To answer my own question, just seen a pic and it's 206... but this one is already re-liveried. Is the refurbishment more than relivery?

It is more than relivery, but 378206 was already refurbished at Ilford. Possibly corrosion repairs?
