Class 397 Pantograph

I've started to notice that nearly all class 397 ive seen had its pantograph raised up twoards the front instead from the rear. Similar how the Azuma's done the opposite (Travel with pan up front, now at rear)

Any reason for the sudden change?

It's a software modification due to an issue with lineside equipment which causes arcing when stood at certain signals.
