Hello All,
As many of you will know DMSO 67300 of this unit (7001) is preserved at Coventry's Electric Railway Museum. After a ten year labour of love by a small and dedicated team we have nearly finished the restoration work. This will be a huge triumph over the mindless vandals who nearly destroyed this hugely important vehicle just over five years ago.
In order to fund the final stages of work we have launched an appeal to raise the £1000 needed for materials that will see the vehicle opened to the public for the first time at the forthcoming ERM Spring Gala Weekend on May 10th and 11th.
