Class 67 Locomotive Questions.

hello. I am a railroad fanatic living in Korea.

While studying mechanics in high school and junior college, I also watch railroad cars.

I am writing this because I would like to ask a question related to the Class 67 locomotive.

1. Class 67 DB Cargo UK owned locomotive Question.

I am accessing the British Railways forum site and looking at the content.

DB Cargo UK site confirmed that some fleets are for sale.

I recently saw a photo of 67003 locomotive parts being dismantled. Is this a locomotive that is being scrapped?

The year of production was confirmed as 1999-2000.

I am writing this article because I want to know in detail.

2. Questions 67023, 67027.

I would like to know whether the two locomotives are operated by Colas Rail.

Wikipedia lists 67023 as GBRf and 67027 as Colas Rail.

I would like to know which railway operating company operates it.

I wrote it in Korean and translated it into English using Google Translator. Please understand.

I believe 67023 and 67027 are now GBRf, but I might be getting my wires crossed. I haven't heard anything about 67003, but then there are Forum members much more qualified than I am who will know.

I hope this helps!

They were GBRf for a bit, but believe due to unreliability they decided against keeping them and they have both returned to Colas!

However they’d already painted 027 into GBRf livery and if you put 67027 2024 into Flickr there are pics of it now in GB blue and orange with Colas logos!

That makes sense, evidently I'm just behind the times then!

yes. The Wikipedia site operates GBRf, so I wanted to know exactly.

I need to edit the nonsense content, but it's not working well.

I wouldn’t bother editing wikipedia. Even a ”first person” photograph is not accepted by them as evidence for a vehicle’s location or owner/operator.

67023 & 67027 seem to spend a lot of time at Westbury, I'm not sure what they are used for (if anything as they don't seem to move location much).

Class 67 67020 worked today, 1V33 Manchester Piccadilly depart 0627 to Cardiff, first outing for 67020 for many weeks, the service was cancelled near Church Stretton, "fault with traction equipment", was the fault in 67020 or the rolling stock set HD02?
The next leg of the diagram set 1W19 was a substitution of 67020 by 67022,( all information from RTT).

HD02 had the fault. The loco was fine.
