Hello everybody,

as I'll be in the next time back to UK after a long time, I'm not 'state of the art' about current locomotive hauled trains.

Are class 68 locomotives still on duty on Chiltern Trains with Mk3 stock on London <> Birmingham (<> Kidderminster) services? Are there any other loco hauled services leaving London beside the Caledonian Sleeper services?

For class 68 workings I've found several diagrams here -> http://class68.co.uk/diagrams.html and here -> http://www.railtourinfo.co.uk/locohauled8a.html , but while browsing Chiltern Rail timetables and checking tickets, I got a little bit suspicious, because on mentioned trains only Standard class is available and likewise tickets are on sale. My last information is, that on Mk3 stock also First class should be available.

Thanks a lot in advance for any information, which will be most appreciated.

Regards

There is no 1st Class on Chiltern. Business Zone was also abolished a while ago. So just Standard Class.

Just a quick question. There seems to be a lack of 68 turns this week commencing 15th May. Is this because of the industrial action at the moment. Thank you
