I was on an 8 car Class 700 working a Sevenoaks to Victoria service just now, and I was surprised to see that at Shoreham, only the front 7 coaches had the doors released. I'm sure when I've traveled this route before, that on those occasions all doors were released. Does anyone know if this is a new thing and if so what might have prompted it?

most of the time the 700s stop car mark is a few feet before the usual ones because of signal sighting etc etc. Just check to see where the FLU/RLU stop car marks are located. This probably means the rear of the train isnt on the platform fully.
