Yes, as far as I know, only 707 003/4/5/6/7/8/9/10 have transferred, the others might when a Class 701 is finally introduced.
Given SWRs now permanently reduced timetable, more could transfer *in theory* without there being any shortages on their side or any 701s in service.

Saw the Southeastern blue one out and about at New Cross yesterday. Was passing so didn't catch the number. Think it looks smart.

Then one of the 707s failed across 3/4 tracks on its way out of Grove Park drpot on my way home. A 30 odd minute sit at Hither Green while it was removed!

Did it gap the 3rd rail? I assume if there are any risky moves then the class just gets banned from making them.

I doubt that, it just have a restriction on the class that accessing Grove Park depot they must operate in pairs or some other instructions, I doubt very much they would be barred.

Yes if there's a gap longer than a 5 car unit something needs fixing with the infrastructure at said location, so I imagine no 3rd rail gap of that length exists. 2-car 466s might have to be careful if shunting on their own.

Then you would be very surprised. Gaps everywhere, even some points where a 10 car can gap.

It doesn't even have to be a single 100m gap, but two 20m+ gaps that are ~80m apart would have the same effect on a single car unit

I don't know if anyone else has mentioned him, but I think Network Nathan on Youtube is a really refreshing change from some of the rail types on there.

He looks like the kind of person Southeastern should work with on their marketing and promo. It would score a huge win for local engagement !

I have watched Network Nathan. He is really good.
Agreed - I really love his enthusiasm. He did a piece on Bromley North a few months back and even though I'm already pretty familiar with the Bromley North line, it was still nice to hear some different perspectives from someone.

Not sure if it’s already been mentioned but Southeastern seem to be branding these “City Beam” trains.

...and I'm not sure about that name! But it's good to see that they're going through all the effort to with branding and publicity to adopt the trains as their own.

It seems common that new stock has teething problems and/or other issues on their arrival. If 707s have something up in their early days of SE operation, there is a particular rhyme for "City Beam" that would fit.
