Tornado was still in the shed at Loughborough over the weekend. It has had some work done to the regulator as the steam dome cover has been removed.

There was still work to do on the regulator, but it has now been reported as in light steam on the NVR as of last night.

Visited Nene Valley on Saturday and all seemed well.
They had used the Continental carriages for driver experience runs during the week..
The Mk1 train was in use on Saturday.
Tornado should leave the N V R under it’s own power..

Is Tornado due to move to the Old Dalby test line, if so will it make it's own way? TIA

Interesting as I’ve also heard a move to Old Dalby is imminent? I’m led to believe from conversation that the latest works have included some mods to the air braking and regulator control required for use at old Dalby. This has included the fitting of a T in the brake pipe and an additional cock in a position below running plate level under the cab. I’m sure others will have clearer details on what’s planned though.
