I noted a couple of posts by 'new member' Class313 lately.

IIRC Class 313 is currently this forums fourth most prolific poster, with over 6100 posts to his name.

He (Tom) has not posted since about January 2009. Is this a reincarnation of 'Tom',and if not how can a user name be resucistated in such a way?

Whether or not it is the same person using two accounts, the names 'class 313' and 'Class313' are different due to the space, (and, possibly, the capitalization), therefore what are seemingly the same name are seen as different by the system.

Indeed, they are not the same Username, and are also most likely two different people.

In the same way, someone else could set up a userid 'big hat' - a username has hardly been resurrected.

Well, considering 'class 313' (with the space) is now banned, I wouldn't be at all surprised if 'class313' (without the space) is the same person.
