I hope you find this gallery interesting. Class British 0-6-0s and 4-4-0s together with British style semapahore signalling yet still active in 1978! These locos were heavily influenced by current design on the Great Central Railway and feature many details that could easily be seen up to the end of eastern Region steam on BR. There is also an image of even older locos (including a Sentinel) that had probably seen little action since 1948!
