If we are omitting stations on the GWML (Saltford, Hampton Row Halt) then Limpley Stoke is the first closed station after leaving it at Bathampton Junction and therefore on the Heart of Wessex Line 'proper'

It would never be the same unless we had route discussions worth querying. If you see in the preamble that I posted at the start of this particular journey, I stated that the last two legs were the Bristol and Gloucester Railway followed by the Heart of Wessex Line

After Bristol Temple Meads, my notes showed the currently open stations of Keynsham..then Oldfield Park..then Bath Spa....which then brought my posting of Bathampton as a closed station to the fore, followed then by your correct posting of Limpley Stoke.

My records show the next closed station after Limpley Stoke to be...

Witham ......Opened in 1856 and closed in 1966
