We next move to England for the next journey.....

This is number 1069 in the series so far.....

The journey starts at the closed station of Longridge
It follows the line of the Preston and Longridge Railway
It then follows the line of the North Union Railway
It then follows the line of the Bolton and Preston Railway
It then follows the line of the Lancashire Union Railway
It then follows the line of the North Union Railway
It then follows the line of the Liverpool and Manchester Railway...via Earlestown...note 1st and 2nd stations
It then follows the line of the Warrington and Newton Railway
It then follows the line of the Grand Junction Railway
It then follows the line of the Crewe and Shrewsbury Railway
It then follows the line of the Nantwich and Market Drayton Railway
It then follows the line of the Wellington and Drayton Railway
It then follows the line of the LNWR Wellington to Stafford Line
It then follows the line of the Stafford and Uttoxeter Railway
It then follows the line of the NSR Crewe to Derby Line
It then follows the line of the GNR Derbyshire and Staffordshire Extension
It then follows the line of the GNR Heanor Gate Branch Line
The journey ends at the closed station of Heanor Gate

The first closed station on this journey is Longridge
