A semi-rural part of north-west England
We next move to Wales for the next journey.....

This is number 1652 in the series so far....

The journey starts at the closed station of Dowlais Cae Harris
It follows the line of the RR Taff Bargoed Line
It then follows the line of the Taff Vale Extension Railway...via Trelewis Platform
It then follows the line of the Rhymney Railway...via Pwll-y-Pant
It then follows the line of the Vale of Glamorgan Line..via Penarth loop line
It then follows the line of the South Wales Railway...via Pyle (1st station)
It then follows the line of the North Pembrokeshire and Fishguard Railway...via Beag Fair Siding
The journey ends at the closed station of Letterston

The first closed station on this journey is Dowlais Cae Harris

(Just quite lately back home) -- I confess to remaining baffled by all these earlier stages of this Journey... as emphasised before: my dim-ness, not any failings in exposition of the exercise -- I just can't seem to get head round the geography of these stretches of line; find that the maps confuse me more than enlighten. Just now, rather blindly following precedent, or trying to --
