Morning,

There doesn’t appear to be a thread for this so thought I’d start one.

A lot of work starting to take place on site now. Some of the new AWS magnets and TPWS grids have been installed. Location bases being installed at the minute.

Does anyone know when this is been completed, can’t seem to find any information online? Assume it’ll become Rugby ROC afterwards vice Stoke SCC.

July 23 is commissioning date. Pretty much like for like, nothing exciting. Goes to Rugby as you state.

Stafford workstation in the ROC controls it and has done since the resignalling.
So Rugby ROC will soon control from the north end of Watford Tunnel to Basford Hall?
That's from about MP22 to MP155, or 133 linear miles.
That must be the longest continuous stretch of line under one signalling centre in the UK?
(That's ignoring the 162 miles of RETB between Inverness and Wick).
York's control area of the ECML will be longer one day.
York's recent control of King's Cross must have replaced Cardiff's control of most of the North Wales main line as the "furthest" distance from lineside equipment to signaller - 188 miles.

No, it is still in Rugby SCC, which is next door. The only panel in the ROC is Stafford.

There’s a lot to do before 23rd July. There are no posts or gantries etc installed yet or even on site from what I can see from trundling past.

More likely a reference to July 2023?
