After 6pm weekdays or on a Saturday or Sunday after 10am, what is the fastest way of leaving either St Helens Junction or Newton-le-Willows and pass through/call at Earlestown platforms 3 and 5 and returning to origin?
I just need to tick off these little local pieces of track but I'm not getting ideal waiting times (20 mins+ between trains
) unless someone can see something that I can't...
