Could the Norwich - Liverpool service be sped up?

I would have wanted some 222's to shift into 5 car sets and run the route after the introduction of the 810's. Too much of a pipedream unfortunately.
Queue the many-times re-hashed arguments about why 222s are not appropriate for the route… :s

Yes & you’d certainly have speed issues across the Fens with 222s hence why the test wasn’t successful.

If there is ever an easy way to reach the next highest Member status, it is repeatedly posting on why the 222s aren’t suitable for the Liverpool-Norwich route :lol:

Only slightly beaten by rail staff should work Boxing Day ;)

The funniest part is the 810s would actually be better on the route than the 222s. That's how crazy an idea the 222s are.
