Looking to be platform staff, but before yelling its a definite no by the railway companies. Only have fits when asleep, so would have to be asleep on the job, controlled by drugs so not had a fit in over eight years.

DVLA happy for me to drive, but couldn't be a private hire driver because use drugs. What do you think SWT would say?

Unfortunately, it is highly unlikely that they would employ you in any safety critical role (which includes platform staff, guards, drivers, shunters etc) as they will (I believe quite reasonably too) say there is always the risk you will have a fit when on duty whilst responsible for peoples' safety

PTSO or platform depending on the weather
I don't know the rules today but it was a definate no-no under BR

Not just because of the role being safety-critical but what if you are on a station by yourself and you have a seizure?

Guessing you have what used to be called petit mal?

but can imagine in todays world still being turned down for a station job.

Imagine in today's world where you have a seizure. Fall over and hurt yourself on the platform. Sue the company for a few thousand pounds for an 'accident at work'

It was, served in the army for 12 years, had a Hang Glider Pilots licence, have a driving licence but can imagine in todays world still being turned down for a station job.

There are other roles within the company, call centre managing customer queries might be a good place to start based at Basingstoke?

Worked with a guy with epilepsy in the booking office.

Jobs available but as mentioned safety critical could be a problem in case of seizures trackside etc.
