I took a train from Winchester to Birmingham last night which was due into BHM at 19:51 but arrived over half an hour late. I've sent off the claim for delay repay but I'm wondering, how long will it take to be processed? When I was delayed an hour with LNER back in June, they refunded me moments after my train arrived.

I claimed delay repay on Crosscountry a couple of weeks back immediately after the delayed journey. It took 11 days to get the money in the bank.

I've had mixed results with XC. Usually within a few days, but there have been instances where I've had to send an e-mail to Customer Services to 'nudge' them to process the claim.
I suspect that they may be rather busy with claims after this weekend (including one of mine), so depends how much manual checking they're doing.

I sent one in on 3rd Nov (after being affected when the NW was knackered after a trespass), I got the payment middle of this week. I did get a mail about 10 days ago saying "sorry we're processing a lot of claims at the moment"

Probably doesn't help that I sent in another claim on Sunday after delays caused me to miss two connections...

XC have approved my first claim, how long until I get it?
