I understand this is operated as a Park and Ride, now is there anyone local here who can clarify if any charges apply?

I'm sure the local authorities were thinking of setting up a £1 fee per day but did this ever took place or is it free unlike car parks south of the border where you pay large sums of money to use the car parks.

I'm going to be needing to park for a few hours to visit Glasgow and as the rail service between Croy and Glasgow is already attractive enough, I'm looking at parking there simply because I don't want to drive into Glasgow.

Any help would be very much appreciated, :)

EDIT: Thought I knew but...
Can't find a definitive official statement about what's happening at the moment, other than a decision in principle to charge £1 a day initially but rising later when town centre charges are introduced elsewhere. Don't know if it was implemented or not, sorry.

I had a look at First Scotrail's website and there was nothing about the car parking facilities that i could see (browsing via my phone) , nothing mentioned. I can say the car park is big but not sure if it's P&R or pay and display. Scotrail usually have free parking with the exception of Glasgow Queen Street. Hope that provides some information.
