Just noticed fairly major earth works on the deep cutting between thingley junction and Corsham. There has been monitoring equipment there for some time so I guess it was deemed necessary to prevent landslip. Also good to see Chippenham viaduct getting some TLC (someone must have read my comment a few months ago ) although it does look a bit haphazard the way it's been patched.
