Daily Fail Elizabeth Line article

Todays Fail has a report on William and Kate’s journey on the Elizabeth line yesterday. The photo on the front page is captioned “Look who we bumped into on the Tube”! The full article makes several references to “the tube”, or “tube station barriers”….someone please tell the Fail that the Elizabeth line is National Rail and not a tube line…..

Has 'the Tube' not simply become a catch-all term for TfL's central London routes? After, the Circle, District, Metropolitan Lines are often referred to as tube lines , which we know they are not!
