I think it was my 3rd or 4th attempt to get a shot of it as I didn't know from the timetable which were the loco hauled trains as opposed to the usual dmus. I eventually worked it out by hearing it heading towards Carlisle and got the return journey on a day when were weren't going out as a family doing other things!
