DBS in Salfords yard

Hi guys i was driving pass through Salfords between redhill and gatwick on the down slow line and noticed a DBS 66 and wagons being loaded or unloaded any info i havent seen any freight in there for years.

Wow in all the years I've been driving passed their I've never seen it used, I thought it had been disconected as the diamond over the up slow had been plain lined?

train must have come up from gatwick way and set back from the up slow like you said the diamond crossover has been temp removed

Wow a loco of any description in Salfords Yard. That must be rarer than rare!

A potential sign do you think of reopening for freight trains/stabling etc? Or just a rare one off event that occurs once every decade?
