In December the high speed line between Stuttgart and Ulm (

Just to clarify that the new line won’t go into Stuttgart yet. It ends at Wendlingen and trains will use the classic line from there, meaning that train usage (AFAIK the connection is single track, so limited capacity) and journey time reductions will be rather limited at first (IIRC, approx 15 minutes).
The line will of course later extend to Stuttgart, but only when Stuttgart21 opens.
