I don't think it's been mentioned in this thread yet, but it seems the Heart of Wessex line has seen a significant improvement to its winter Sunday service.

From December 11, a train leaves Bristol at 08.23, to give a mid-morning arrival in Weymouth at 10.42. The unit then returns at 11.05 northwards. OK, this only goes to Westbury, but it connects into a Paddington express and a Pompey-Bristol service.

I think there was a similar train running on Summer Sundays (but from Westbury, not Bristol, and not in winter). So this is a vast improvement, especially for passengers between Weymouth and Bruton wanting to head north and east. Previously, the first train out of Weymouth was not until 14.15. (I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.).

Southeastern have added additional stops in morning peak semi-fast services towards Victoria and Blackfriars from 12th December 2016:
07:36 Crofton Park – Victoria
07:58 Bellingham – Victoria
08:24 Crofton Park – Victoria
08:43 Crofton Park – Victoria
09:01 Crofton Park – Blackfriars
Apparently the stopping services towards Blackfriars are so full that passengers struggle to board them but the semi-fast services had seats free.

C2C start their new timetable on Monday, after the mess that they created with the Dec 2015 timetable. This one wont be as bad as they have the 387s now so more 12 car trains on the mainline. But it also coincides with the reduction of services at Basildon, Laindon and Upminster with the removal of 1 train at basildon and 4 trains at Laindon and Upminster in the morning peak. Not very good considering their the busiest stations on the line. They say that they have changed the services as to what the Customer Panels have said, which they responded with no you haven't.

Still cannot polish a turd, which they created in December 2015, turning one of the best commuter routes into London to one of the most hated into London.
