My line was closed for planned engineering works this weekend. The operator provided a replacement bus service, but whereas the normal journey by train takes 30 minutes, the bus was late arriving, stopped at virtually all the stations, and as a result it took me over an hour to get to my destination.

Can I claim Delay Repay?

It depends when you bought your ticket.
If you bought it before the engineering works we’re announced and as such you arrived later than your itinerary suggested you would then yes. However, if you bought a ticket after this then you were not delayed from the timetable that applied when you bought a ticket.
