i am going through a petty phase and making sure I always claim my delay repay from Southwestern railway.
Today I took my 6 year old nieces to bournemouth (From Eastleigh) for the day. They were struggling with the journey home and when we got to Southampton airport parkway our connection was showing cancelled, the next train was over 15 minutes later and would have missed the bus we needed so I thought damnit and paid for a taxi. I know I can’t claim for that but thought I’d be able to get my delay repay 15. When I look at real-time trains it shows the train ran with a 7 minute delay (though oddly live tracking still shows it en-route nearly 2 hours later: https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/W36835/2019-11-22
I don’t know if it actually ran or not.
Should I just do the delay claim for the 15-29 minute delay due to cancellation or do I need to do anything else?
