Hi guys,
I travelled from Chelmsford to Chepstow on Wednesday, returning Friday (yesterday). On both trips, one train was delayed enough to make me miss my connection at Newport.
Outbound, my GWR train was 10 mins late, and I only had a 9 minute connection to make the XC service to Chepstow, so I had to get the TfW service just over 30 mins later.
On the return, the XC from Chepstow was 18 mins late and made me miss the GWR train from Newport to London.
All these trains were the ones suggested by the site I booked on, which was the Rail Staff Travel site.
Am I right in thinking I claim delay repay from GWR for the outbound and XC for the return..? And I claim the delay at my final destination…?
It was a super off peak return if that makes any difference!
