The 08:44 from Leamington Spa will be calling at the above two stations on its way to Newcastle! I presume this is related to the landslip?

According to NRE that train is providing a direct route from Solihull to Birmingham New Street. Is that possible?

I can't find it on Real Time Trains.

Found it - but no indication it is stopping at Solihull

Yes it is possible, the Newcastle trains do that route anyway between Leamington and Birmimgham New Street but they never usually call at those stations. They go non-stop between Leamington and New Street. There is a line that veers off at Tyseley that brings you around past Birmingam City's football ground that takes you to New Street.

As it's a VSTP arrangement, perhaps, they would not have been input to the system. If that is so, nothing would appear in RTT.

Indeed. In the olden days, there was a direct service from Oxford to Solihull.

Due to the Harbury issue, XC will call additionally Warwick PW & Solihull, as Chilterns have fewer trains north of Leamington than would ideally be the case.
